These terms cover your use of the Local Legends website. They're deliberately short. Quotes and the actual jobs we do for you are covered by a separate written quote / work order, not by this page.

1. Who we are

Local Legends is a small two-person trades business owned and operated by Seth and Levi, based in Christchurch / Ōtautahi, New Zealand. The easiest way to get hold of us is seth@locallegends.nz or via our contact page.

2. Using this website

You're welcome to browse the site and submit the contact form to ask us about work. In return, you agree to:

• Provide accurate contact details so we can actually get back to you.
• Not submit unlawful, abusive, misleading, or spammy content.
• Not try to break, overload, scrape, or interfere with the site.
• Not use the contact form to send unsolicited marketing to us.

We may rate-limit, block, or ignore submissions that appear to be automated or abusive.

3. Quotes and bookings

The contact form is an enquiry, not a contract. Submitting it doesn't book a job or commit either of us to anything. It just starts the conversation.

Once we've had a look and given you a written quote, the work itself is governed by that quote (price, scope, dates, payment terms) and any related work order, not by this page.

4. Information on the site

We try to keep service descriptions, pricing guidance, and contact details accurate, but everything on this site is provided for general information only. Prices, availability, and the list of services we offer can change without notice. Always rely on a written quote rather than what's on this page.

5. Intellectual property

The Local Legends name, logo, brand mark, and the text and design of this website belong to us. Please don't reproduce or pass them off as your own. You're welcome to link to the site.

6. Third-party links

Where we link to other websites (e.g. our providers' privacy policies, or external resources), we're not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we provide this website on an “as is” basis and exclude liability for any loss arising from your use of it (for example, from relying on information that turned out to be out of date). Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other rights that can't legally be excluded.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, dated at the top.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes will be dealt with in the New Zealand courts.
